Volunteer

Meet our kids and get involved! Here’s how:

Mentor/coach/advise.

Caring, responsible adults can make an enormous difference in young people’s lives. We can help you figure out the best way for you to get involved. Contact Lauren Grimaldi: (646) 755-9752 or lauren.grimaldi@gvyc.net

Share your skills.

Design. Construct. Teach workshops. Our children would love to learn from you during their afterschool programs, and we can also use logistical and construction help. Whatever you love to do or do best, we can help you figure out how to work with us. Contact Lauren Grimaldi: (646) 755-9752 or lauren.grimaldi@gvyc.net

Fundraise.

Of course, we can always use help raising funds to support our programs. You could:

  • Host a fundraiser: a party, event, walkathon, bar night

  • Ask your friends to donate
  • Connect us with businesses or grantmakers you know
